Lake Stickney, Lake Stickney CDP

Located in the Lake Stickney census-designated place is Lake Stickney, a small lake located along Swamp Creek. Homes and docks are found along the southern, eastern, and northern shores of the lake, while the western shore is mainly marshland. Lake Stickney Drive encircles the developed areas around the lake.

Formerly located on the western shore was the Country Gentleman Resort, which contained a swimming pool, a small golf course, and a restaurant which burned down on June 7, 1982. The site is currently planned to be a future park which would be integrated with the surrounding marshes.

Current public access to the lake is through a water access site managed by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. The location at the north side of the lake includes a basic boat ramp. Bass and trout can be found in the lake, and motorized boats are not allowed.

Parking is located along the driveway from the street to the boat ramp.

This portable toilet serves as the toilet facility for the water access site.

The boat ramp consists of a series of concrete bars extending into the water.

Next to the boat ramp were some tadpoles.
